Little Party Dress Dream State Lilac Polka Dot Dress, Review Boater Hat, Adorne 3D Jewelled Flowers Structured Clutch, Origami Doll Pins, Les Nereides Black Mini Ballerina Necklace, Molten Store Star Cluster Stud Earrings, Wittner Heels (similar style here).

With an affinity for the charming, umbrella yielding nanny, known as Mary Poppins, you can only imagine just how tickled I was to experience the highly anticipated sequel Mary Poppins Returns at the request of my friends at Disney.

Providing the perfect second chapter to the story, I adored the ever so stylish Emily Blunt, who infused a little more sass back into the beloved character of Mary Poppins, whilst emulating a stylishly chic take on the enchanting muse; known for her signature style of structured coats, geometric prints, pops of polka dots and of course, a love of millinery.

Inspired by her whimsically chic style, I’ve put together a Mary Poppins Returns inspired ensemble, highlighting a retro polka dot dress in a playful lilac hue from Little Party Dress. With floaty bell sleeves, one could simply drift into the heavens by her very own umbrella.

In true Mary Poppins fashion, I’m teaming my frock with a sophisticated straw boater by Review, highlighting a lace netting overlay. Swapping an endless carpet bag for a cheery Adorne 3D flower clutch, helps to take this spell bounding look from day – night.

The final flourish is seen through dainty accessories, with eccentric charm, a tape measure and miniature umbrella brooch, a ballerina necklace and starry earrings.

For those seeking a magical escape to the theatre, then this Disney film is the one for you! Get your tickets to Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns here!

Stylish Highlights From Polo In The City

Remember that scene in Pretty Woman, where Vivian gets frocked up and attends the polo on the arm of the dreamy Edward Lewis? Well I lived that dream last weekend, with a few obvious exceptions (lady of the night profession and sans one Richard Gere). Check out my highlights from Polo In The City below.

Polo In The City

Wearing Review Heirloom Floral Dress.

My first time attending the Polo In The City, was celebrated in the most stylish way, with my sister and I being dolled up by Review. With a love of florals, we both choose garments with dreamy, blooming prints, otherwise perfect for the Spring affair. Sophie wore the Best Kept Secret Dress, a garment so fitting for the sweetest garden soiree, which featured a flirty A-line silhouette with lace fagoted seam detailing. I on the other hand, wore the Heirloom Floral Dress, which spoke 50’s chic with the sheer neckline, organza overlay and ruffled trim.

Due to the balmy weather, a crisp pour was essential, including a round of Aperol Spritz, which took me back to my recent European summer. The view of the clear blue skies and endless greenery of Dorrington Park from the Champagne Pommery Marquee, made a picturesque setting for the polo match, which highlighted supreme athletes styled in sophisticated sportswear. Honestly, if playing polo invites such a chic uniform, then where do I sign up?

Review Wish Upon A Star Dress, Olga Berg Lana Two Tone Headband, Les Georgettes Bracelet, Molten Store Enigmatic Ways Earrings, Sachi Heels (similar style here).

With Melbourne Cup just a mere week away, I’m putting together the final sparkle for my Fashion On The Field #OOTD (otherwise, my Melbourne Cup outfit). Fittingly, sparkle is what I’m channelling this year, having found the most delightfully astral frock from new season Review.

The most eye catching detail of this dress is the starry tulle overlay that contrasts against the midnight navy hue of the frock. Highlighting an ethereal aura, this stellar number reminds me of french romanticism, combining spirituality, nature and colour in the most magical ways. With flourishes of detail, I’m particularly drawn to the sweetheart neckline, further complimented by an elegant sheer overlay. I also love the silhouette created by the ruching of the fabric seen at the waist.

Having deliberated on the choice between fascinator or hat, I instead opted for a satin headband, the trending headwear of the moment. Equipped with a handmade lace fan, fresh from my travels to Venice, I am ready for warm temperatures trackside, all the while remaining sophisticated and stylish.

Ladies, if you are still on the lookout for the perfect Melbourne Cup outfit, then why not sneak a peek at Review’s newest arrivals. I’de love to see some #ReviewGirls at the races. Des bisous!

It’s impossible not to feel those queen vibes while wearing such a rich and opulent colour as this seductive wine shade. Branching out from their signature floral and feminine fabrics, Review are serving up a statement with this bold, geometric lace dress. Unsurprisingly this little piece sold like hotcakes and is no longer available to purchase (tear!) however there are some absolute gems amongst the new arrivals!
