White Label Noba Charli Pants and Mitsy Top.

Disney queens, it’s time to drape on the jewels and live your best Arabian night (or day) with the release of Disney’s live action adaption of Aladdin.

Attending an exclusive preview screening, complete with lavish trinkets in true Aladdin style, I was completely dazzled (not to mention envious) of Princess Jasmine’s glow up, highlighting a whole new wardrobe. From structured embroidered bodices falling into free-flowing fabrics, to the reimagined turquoise set, adorned with a crystal peacock motif, I was entranced by the vibrant colour palette and mix of luxurious fabrics, inspired to craft my very own Spell Bounding #OOTD.

With Jasmine’s penchant for harem pants, seen in the original and adaptation, I decided to infuse a little flair with White Label Noba’s Charli Pant, complete with layered ruffled detailing – perfect for a quick dash throughout the market place with a particular suitor.

Adding a magical genie-esque note, I’ve styled the elaborate Mitsy Top, also by White Label Noba, highlighting luxe satin fabric, ruched shoulder detailing, billowing sleeves and a vivid paisley print. Lamp and wishes not included, although I’ll happily reside in the Cave Of Wonders!

Prepare yourself for a fantastic point of view, in Disney’s anticipated live action adaptation, Aladdin. For more information, visit https://www.disney.com.au/movies/aladdin.

Visiting Disney: Mary Poppins Returns

Just a mere two weeks ago, I squeezed in a quick trip to Sydney to preview the highly anticipated Gala Screening of Mary Poppins Returns, as a guest of Disney. Although a short 48hr staycation, here’s my highlight reel of the magical events that occurred.

Disney Mary Poppins Returns

Knowing that a red carpet was imminent, a spectacular frock was needed for the occasion. My Cinderella moment was achieved in a dazzling, silvery two piece by Queensland Designer Tracey Watkins of White Label Noba. Making a grand entrance in the London style Disney cab, I really felt like a real life princess, with a gown destined to make the fairest royal totally jealous.

As for the film, it was practically enchanting in every way possible, from the impeccably styled and articulate, Emily Blunt who shone as Mary Poppins, to the whimsical cinematography and charismatic storyline. Not to mention, the score is positively charming and cheeky, quickly becoming a key feature on my Spotify playlist.

The Staycation

This was my first time staying in Sydney’s one of a kind boutique hotel, The Collectionist and choosing my own room was the ultimate luxury. I was lucky enough to lounge in the Kyoko room, within the Artisan room series. The room was incredibly tranquil highlighting Japanese minimalism through the natural material interior and neutral colour palette. With speedy wifi readily available I was able to binge watch my favourite Christmas movies, like The Holiday.

Is it even a Sydney trip without a visit to The Grounds Of Alexandria? I think not! My Christmas dreams became reality as I wandered through The Nutcracker And The Four Realms activation, which featured giant Nutcracker statues, larger than life candy canes, endless snow capped Christmas trees, lush florals and magical falling snow.

Short yet sweet, my trip to Sydney was in one word, remarkable and I look forward to returning in early 2019! In the mean time – keep any eye out for my upcoming practically perfect Disney Bounding post, inspired by Mary Poppins Returns.

Cue the madness of a deranged tea party and a croquet game with the queen, I’m ready to travel down the rabbit hole to join Alice and her kooky gang, in this divine Disney collection Lost In Wonderland by Seduce x Disney. Coinciding with Tim Burton’s theatrical sequel, Alice Through The Looking Glass, the exquisite collection paints a beautiful and familiar story of the curious blonde girl who finds herself in a magical world, chasing a white rabbit.

It’s a magical pairing, one that I have been very excited for since the memo appeared mysteriously on the Seduce Insta back in May. Captured by the talented Margaret Zhang, the campaign itself is hauntingly beautiful featuring opulent spaces, a decadent tea party setting and dreamy florals. See the campaign lookbook here.

As for the garments, the collection features delicate fabrics, floating silhouettes and ornate prints, all inspired by the Disney original. The very piece I’m wearing features a charming, whimsical print of the familiar characters; the talking roses, the cards, The White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Alice, which contrasts delicately against the ‘Alice Blue’ shade of the gown. It’s name is fitting, as I find myself Curiouser & Curiouser about the adventure I’m about to begin!

Do you love this modern Disney collection? Which pieces are on your wish list? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
