Warning: objects may be more dangerous then they appear. Behind this pink lipped smile is a fierce fashionista who’s allegiance is with the wolves.

It’s not everyday you stumble across amazing street art in Brisbane, but Fintan Magee’s “Pack Of Wolves” mural hunting the streets of West End escalates my heartbeat and makes me feel…dangerous. Behind the lens was the tasty little morsel, Erin Smith Photography, who captured my wild side, which was draped in a slinky LBD from St Frock. Relaxed in structure and with attention to detail seen in the cut-out panel and chain rope neckline, this piece is not only super comfy to wear but offers the perfect embellishment to a classic staple.

If my recent #ootds are anything to go by, it would seem that I really love animal print…Well I do! However, I am the first to acknowledge that shopping for a fabulous print is often easier said than done. A great print is highly dependent on the texture, colouring, fit and pattern, but does have the ability of looking cheap and nasty. For this reason, I tend to avoid clingy fabrics or tight fitting prints, and instead opt for structured pieces or pieces with a relaxed fit. My pick this week is the St Frock Desert Dweller Pants which features a drawstring waist, relaxed fit and bold cheetah print. Style Tip: I have teamed this statement piece with a sheer creme top and point heels for a more polished look. Alternatively a block heel/ankle boot and a crop would create a more edgy ensemble perfect for your street style snaps.

Animal print in pastel hues is definitely not a combination you expect to see  everyday- which is why I’m loving my new St Frock Urban Jungle Shift Dress. The weathered sandstone architecture might be a little matchy-matchy, but I find the similar colour palette brings out a warm quality in the styled look…That and the fact it was about a million degrees outside when it was taken.

Erin Smith Photography and I explored the most structurally interesting facets of the campus, all while making various references and comparisons to Hogwarts. It turns out you can’t always expelliarmus the wizard out of the woman.
