Bohemian Queen

Zimmermann Henna Floating Fringe Dress, Kate Spade New York Indiana Wedge Sandals, Michael Kors Ritz Watch, Bronzallure Faceted Cushion Ring, Michael Kors Rose Quartz Bracelet, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry Diamond Wishbone Bracelet, Michael Kors Pyramid Stack Rings, Rebecca Minkoff Isobel Phone Cross Body Bag, Silk Fred Blossom Floral Crown, Elie Saab Le Parfum.

It goes without saying, I’ve had blushing nude tones on my mind while putting together this week’s little shopping edit. More than just about neutrals, I find blushing nude tones to be inherently feminine and flattering on just about any complexion. If you’re yet to add a little nude colour into your wardrobe, then now’s the perfect time to start.

This particular edit plays on the notion of romance and bohemian royalty, hence the title Bohemian Queen. The star of this edit is undoubtedly the Zimmermann Henna Floating Fringe Dress, with it’s detailed and delicate lace fabric and free flowing structure. The subtle pink undertones are best teamed with rose gold accessories, so I’ve picked out an assortment of rosy jewels!

I’de love to hear if you have your own little bohemian go-to, so leave me a little comment below lovelies! x

Weekends often call for a quick dash out of the city and in my case, a touch of wilderness. Know the feeling? Throwing myself into the heart of the jungle, well Tamborine Mt Botanical Gardens, I felt so free dancing around in the natural light, and listening to the sounds of the forest. Of course I anticipated such whimsical events, so I fittingly dressed for the occasion, opting for a luxe boho look.

This Bardot Coachella Maxi allows for plenty of skirt swirling and playful exploration, with it’s delicate cotton fabric and ethereal nature. The bold print creates a vibrant and exciting spirit, and it’s earthy colour palette lends itself to a little splash of rose gold jewellery, my ultimate fav!

You can take the girl out of city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl, as I prefer to keep the heels on as I tiptoe down the garden path. What can I say, I’m a little more gypsy princess than just gypsy 😉

St Frock Penelope Dress, French Connection Faux Fur Vest, Portmans Felt Hat (similar style here), Forever 21 Sheer Tights, Jo Mercer Sienna Boots (similar style here).

Into the woods and into a relaxed floral shift from St Frock. Straying dramatically from my usual “classic chic” style, I’m exploring the boho luxe trend in the depths of a forgotten forest. Layering is the key to this look, so don’t stop at a simple shift, combine with tights and outwear in the form of a vest or jacket.

Incorporating rich textures into your ensemble is a must. With one little faux fur vest, my bohemian inspired outfit goes from hippy to high end. Not to mention, this piece feels so soft against my skin and adds warmth on a chilly autumn day.

Finally, add a floppy hat for a gypsy boho queen status and claim your grassy meadow thrown.

There’s a lot going on in this ensemble from multi texture to multi layering, but as you will notice I’ve kept within a rustic, earthy colour palette, highlighting shades of navy, plum, camel and tan. The combination of these colours still looks unified and avoids the fashion faux pas of a matchy-matchy ensemble.

My last words of advice? Be bold and own it, bohemian babes x
