The champagne is on chill and the cheeseboard is sorted and all that’s left for New Year’s preparation is styling a killer ensemble. Lately I find myself turning to the wardrobe classics for inspiration, like the LBD, or more specifically, the MBD – Modern Black Dress. SS21 is elevating the fashion staple with modern touches including peekaboo details and subtle fringing. As for me, I’m vibing anything with a dramatic sleeve and sheer finish, like this metallic skater dress from Pretty Little Thing. To style for NYE soiree, I’m reaching for a pair of strappy stilettos and teaming them with a luxe, statement earring, like these from EllaBelle.

Spring is in my stride with this floral flounce mini dress from Pretty Little Thing. If it wasn’t the vibrant floral print that has my heart racing, then it’s the flirty tiered ruffles that swish in the breeze. I could be dashing to brunch with the girls or meeting my beau for a romantic picnic, but either way this crimson number would serve as the perfect ensemble, best suited with a stiletto to match.

Finesse this fine #OOTD with lashings of luxe gold, like these statement earrings from my local go-to, En Pointe Collective. Voila, this bold gal is ready to seize the day with style and a little too much sass.

There’s no two ways about it, a power suit in preppy pastel is destined to turn heads. Imagine my Elle Woods exuberance when I first laid eyes on this barbie hued set from Australian label, Mossman. This particular two piece highlights the essence of Mossman’s aesthetic, “bold silhouettes, effortless staples and a confident personality”. When I’m donning this ensemble, I feel my most feminine self, ready to #werkprayslay from 9 – 5, followed by slipping into crystal adorned Steve Madden heels for cocktails and conversations.

What I love about this power suit is the versatility of styling as separates. I’m planning on elevating a pair of boyfriend jeans with the blazer grazing my shoulders in the cooler months and pairing down the pants with a romantic, puff sleeved blouse for lunch with the ladies.
