French Connection Cross Over Jumpsuit, Jo Mercer Devious Heels, Sheike Riviera Belt, Oroton Clutch (similar style here), Swarovski Sheena Earrings

There is no denying it; Amal Alamuddin is the most envied female right now. Aside from winning the heart of George Clooney and turning him from eternal bachelor to hubby status, she is a paragon of brains and beauty combined, with a wardrobe that can only be described as incredibly chic.

As much as I love bridal couture (and that Oscar de la Renta custom gown is particularly stunning), it is the two piece pantsuit by Stella McCartney that I’m lusting over. So much so, that recreating this timeless look was priority number this week.

This French Connection jumpsuit is the closest I have come to finding the most perfect streamline white ensemble. The draped v neckline and cinched waist creates a very flattering silhouette, while the relaxed pant adds some serious comfort factor. Eager to add a little monochrome sheik to this look, I have teamed this piece with a wide buckled belt and matching platform wedges. As I love fine detail, a simple Swarovski drop earring is seen as my only sparkle, excluding the glomesh panel on my favourite Oroton clutch.

With a bold, red kisser featuring my newest MAC addition, Ruby Woo, I’m ready to pout for any paparazzo that crosses my path. In this instance, it’s my girl Erin Smith Photography that’s pointing the flash in my direction, but a girl can dream yes?

…Who knows, I might attract a Clooney while I’m channeling Amal!

St Frock Tell Me More Polka Dot Skirt, Kookai Berlin Contrast Tee, Wittner Kurta Heel, Oroton Glomesh Clutch (similar style here), Swarovski Sheena Earrings, Michael Hill Amber & White Cubic Zirconia Ring.

If you couldn’t already tell, I’m a girl who LOVES her pastels. From baby pink to powder blue, a soft pastel colour palette really speaks to my style psyche, while complimenting the pink tones in my fair skin.

There’s a little retro undertone seen in the current spring trends, with the structure of a 50-60’s swing skirt making a comeback. With this in mind, I was delighted to see St Frock combine my love of pastels, print and structure to produce a gorgeous polka dot print midi swing skirt – ticking the boxes of modest and playful at the same time!

Pairing with a fresh white mesh top from Kookai and a hint of gold seen in my accessories, I have crafted a little Sunday brunch outfit, perfect for a sunny spring day. Don’t mind my photographer, Erin Smith Photography and I hitting pause on the shutter to enjoy a macaron and rose tea.

St Frock Lilac Knit, Sussan Summer Linen Pant, Jo Mercer Erika Platforms, Le Specs Noddy Sunglasses, Thomas Sabo Pendant Key (similar style here), French Connection Silver Clutch, Pandora Amethyst Ring.

As a tropical summer season steadily approaches, I’m finding myself more and more drawn to a fresh white colour palette. Not usually a comfort dresser, I have been obsessing over a white wide-leg pant for some time now, for a chic yet casual wardrobe staple. This light linen fabric is perfect for the warmer weather here in Brisbane, not to mention it feels as though I’m wearing nothing but a silky pair of Peter Alexander pjs- otherwise perfect to relax in.

For a second season I am living in my Jo Mercer Erika Platform, which becomes the perfect accessory to the white on white ensemble! If there’s any girls out there resisting the platform look, you really are missing out! Yes it’s a chunky style but surprisingly they are super flattering given the mega height they give.

Savouring the last little knitwear addition to my wardrobe, I’m pulling out a St Frock pastel roll neck, in keeping with the casual theme of today’s #ootd. This soft shade of lilac is just divine especially when teamed with a thick stripe print, then again I can always count on St Frock to deliver the goodies.

A brisk little walk along the esplanade with Erin Smith Photography ended a casual Tuesday. With one beautiful sunset and a disappearing tide, we certainly  felt the way of the bay! All that was missing, was a chilled chorus of “Hey There Delilah.”

The Breeze Caught My Kimono

Flocksy Flatlays hi res-1

Pictured: Flocksy The Breeze Caught My Kimono Scarf

In the full swing of spring, I’m embracing multi tones of pink, pastels and florals…groundbreaking, I know! An extension of the cherry blossom print seen in The Wind Whipped My Canopy scarf, this silky statement by Flocksy paints a pale blue sky, scattered with floating cherry blossoms, illustrated by Sharon Hendy-Moman.

Paying tribute to my favourite colour, I have clashed three different shades of pink: pastel, fuchsia and electric, into a mishmash of girly meets glam. Whipping out my treasured, vintage find, a retro high-waisted Harry Who skirt, with a featured split and adorning buckles, I’m playing the conservative lady card of the season celebrating a great midi length. Tucking in a soft sheer top and accessorising with a pair of metallic pumps, I’m ready to start my girly day with a deluxe manicure before a spot of gelato with the girls.

With a ladylike garden stroll, parasol in hand, Erin Smith Photography and I present the last part of the Flocksy spring lookbook to complete the oriental story. Starting down the garden path, it is time to click my metallic pink heels and return to The Blonde Silhouette HQ. But be warned my pretties, this is not the last you’ve seen of Flocksy! We’ll keep you posted, @theblondesilhouette @erinsmithphoto and @flocksyfashion.
